Scariest aliens

Description

Its safe to say these extraterrestrials do not come in peace.

For this list I will be covering the aliens that I thought were the scariest out there. Two things before we start though, for the sake of verity I'll be covering things from movies and books and beings that are composed of a human host and an alien as well are fair game. Now lets begin.

10: Space pirates, (Metroid video game series.)  Lets start things off with a race that literally lives for war. The space pirates have had many incarnations in the Metroid series but there fiercest one has to be from the prime sup series. Aside from there looks, they have advanced weaponry and know nothing of mercy or compassion, not only do they enjoy killing, they also experiment on there own kind for the sake of makeing super soldiers, they don't care how many lives it will take, they only care about results. Even worse, it's rumored they partake in caniabulisum of incompetents. Nasty.

9: Mi-go, (HP Lovecrafts, The whispers in the darkness.)  The bizarre mind of HP Lovecraft is home to some of the oddest aliens out there, one of his more strange and frightening creations is the Mi-go.  This odd race hails from Pluto (Keep in mind Lovecraft was alive before any satellite was ever launched.)  and are not something you'd ever want to come face to face with.  Sharp claws and strength are just the tip of the ice berg with these things, they have a venomous tail, they can fly, they are smart and they like preserving still living human brains inside jars of odd fluid. However, what keeps them from getting any higher is there only dangerous if you decide to spy on them.  They are pretty shy, and they only came to Earth to get a type of ore that doesn't exist on there world. These ores are ussilly in the middle of nowhere so you have a higher chance of getting killed by lightning.

8: The flood. (Halo series.)  The first of many parasitic aliens on this list, the flood is a alien parasite that starts out as a relatively harmless looking crawling thing, however, ounce they attach to a suitable host they burro into there chest, hijack the nervous system and start looking for more victims. The flood have many different forms and all of them are pretty deadly. They also know how to use guns, (albeit poorly.) they breed faster then rabbits, and they always come in staggering numbers. Yikes.

7: Venom.  (Spider man.)  Now before anyone say's "isn't venom a human?"  hear me out, venom is two beings, one is Eddie Brock, the other is an alien symbiot that ounce attached to Spider man, Venom is down right creepy in many regards, imposing figure? check. Unsettling voice? check. Has nasty habits? check. Venom is one of the web swingers more deadly foes because he has many powers similar to spider man and has one advantage on him none of his other enemy's have: he doesn't trigger Spider seans letting him get the drop on Spidy if the cards are set right.

6: Doomsday: (Superman) Another comic book creep that is aptly named, as he is literally a walking apocalypse. Doomsdays imposing figure is only the tip of the iceberg as his strength, speed and endurance are all frighteningly high, he can't fly but he can cover vast distances by leaping about like a flee. Still not impressed? Well doomsday did the unthinkable: he KILLED Superman, if only temporally. He has also gotten a reputation for being a unstoppable killing force across the Gailxy. If there's anything that would scare the man of steel, it would probably scare you to.

5: Necromorphs. (Dead space franchise.)  You thought normal zombies were bad? You ain't seen nothing yet. The main enemies of this awesome si-fi horrer game series are dead bodies that have been reanimated by an alien vires. These things come in a variety of shapes and sizes and they all have there own gruesome way of ending your life, and none of them are pretty. The propose for necromorphs is to wipe out all life and infected it to start a convergence event, wich causes a marker, the thing that triggers the vires, the pull all the infected materiel into the sky to form a moon sized octopuses like abomination known as a brother moon, in a gruesome mockery of how stars and planets are formed. They are hard to kill but there is one surefire way to stop a necromorph in it's tracks: cut off there limbs.

4: Predators (Predator series.)  Anything that can beat up Arnold Swartzinhager is not something you'd want to come across in a dark ally. These guys live for the trill of the hunt and are a force to be reckoned with. They have a multitude of advanced weaponry, are armed with a clocking device and even with out these accessories they are still faster and stronger then any man. (One beat up Arney for god sake!) They have a habit of ripping out spins and skinning there victims like a deer. These guys are pretty nasty.

3: The great old ones (H.P Lovecraft's The call of Catulu.)  I want to clear up a common misconsumtion: Cathulu is the name of this race's high priest, not the name of there race as a whole. Anyway, these creatchers arrived on Earth wile it was still in the early stages of life. Seeing that our home had potential, they decided to let life on race develop until it produced a inteagent species they could enslave. (I.E us) The city they built was swallowed by the rising ocean but that didn't stop them, they retreated into there city's and entered a state of hibernation were it seemed they were dead. But they were alive and could broadcast there thoughts to lesser beings in a dream like state. These beings formed a cult to worship them and preform sacrifices in there name. Even worse, simply staring at one of them is enough to drive you into complete madness. Throw in they big enough to hold a man in one hand, and the fact they can (Somewhat.) fly and your pretty much toast.

2: The thing (The thing.)  A necromorph apocalypse would be bad, but what if they acted like humans until the perfect moment to strike? The thing is an alien parasite that kills it's victims and takes on there form perfectly. In this state they will be abele to access there hosts memory's and are able to impersonate there host so well, it's nearly imposable to tell if there infected. (They look like a normal human.) However if they decided to attack or if they exposed, they will transform into something monstaris and kill everyone in site. They are also able to break apart to infect muitabule victims at ounce, and bullets don't seem to be to much help. However, they do have one weakness: you must kill them with fire.

1 Xenomorphs. (Alien franchises.) Like anything could even come close to these nightmares. The xenomorphs come from eggs as a crab/manta like creatcher know as face huggers. Ounce the latch onto a victim, they will impregnate them with a single egg, before they drop off and die. The xenomorph eventfully pops out of there host in a horrific allusion to rape. And that's just how they are born. With powerful twin jaw's a blade tip tail and acid for blood, they are the perfect killing machines coupled with speed and agility that is great for there size, and there brute strength and you have little hope of escaping alive. And don't even get me started on there queen.

I hope you enjoyed this countdown, next time I'll cover my favorite villains of all time, peace out.
